Tanzania Wildlife Safaris
Tanzania is often called the real wildlife safari destination. With 25% of its land mass given over to wildlife protected areas and home to the big safari names of Serengeti and Ngorongoro, Tanzania will not disappoint any person seeking a genuine safari experience. In the south of Tanzania you will find the Selous Game Reserve, the largest game reserve in the world, being the size of Switzerland, which also offers incredible wildlife viewing with great sightings of the endangered Wild Dog, amongst other animals. While in the west of the country you will find Mahale National Park and Gombe Stream, which was made famous by Jane Goodall and her chimpanzee research.
After a safari, it is always great to spend some time relaxing by the Ocean and Tanzania again does not disappoint with miles of long white beaches and incredible coral reefs on the exotic ‘spice island’ of Zanzibar, an essential ingredient of any Tanzania tour.
Tanzania has so much to offer and can cater for just about all budgets with an array of different accommodation possibilities. This is a country not to be missed.
CAMPING SAFARIS
Camping is not only the best way of getting close to Africa, but it could also be the cheapest way to visit the great national parks of East Africa. Joining a budget safari is a great experience by itself!
These safaris are suitable for any person who enjoys camping and or outdoor activities. Itineraries are of a superb standard and visit all national parks and areas of interest. We use good quality 4x4 land rovers and land cruisers with viewing roof hatches, equipment is carried by a additional car (if number of participating clients requires). Our Safari driver/guides have good knowledge of conservation issues, fauna and flora. Camping trips are accompanied by a Safari cook who prepares 3 delicious meals daily. Camp assistants may be available on certain safaris according to the number of participating clients.

Accommodation is mostly in modern, large two-man tents with a sewn-in ground sheet, with a comfortable foam mattress spread on the ground sheet (clients bring their own sleeping bags ). In some itineraries accommodation can be a combination of camping and simple chalets or bungalows. We use public national parks campsites, which simple sanitary facilities.
LODGE SAFARIS
These are the equivalents of the western deluxe hotels. Lodge chains such as the Serena and Sopa and a few other privately owned lodges and camps keep a very high standard of service. Simpler lodges we use, such as the Tahi chain (Sopa Lodges) are of a good standard and also very comfortable.
Lodges and camps of this standard are situated in almost all parks and reserves and facilitate most safari itineraries. The vehicles used are safari land cruisers and land rovers with viewing roof hatches.
